Bacilliform

bacilliform (adjective; variant spelling: bacillar) – shaped like a short rod; at least twice as long as wide (length-breadth ratio 2.0-3.0); generally very small, cylindrical and with rounded ends, Bacillus-like. Typically applied to very small objects like conidia, more rarely also used for spores. Related terms: oblong.
