Wiki CSS Extension Help - LIAS Glossary

This is a test version of the LIAS Glossary. Many definitions presented here are still in need of revision! Criticism as well as collaboration is welcome!

The page WikiCSSExtensions allows you to define content-specific CSS styles. In addition to the styles defined by the template, styles defined on that page are available in every page in this Wiki. This feature is supported only by some templates, including the JSPWiki:ConfigurableTemplate

Although the page content of WikiCSSExtensions will be displayed in page view as html with Wiki formatting rules observed, it will actually be included as a style definition and Wiki formatting rules will be ignored.

Example:

.taxon {font:bold;color:blue

would define a style for any text defined with

%%taxon Taxon name%%

Notes

As part of the CSS definitions you may write comments starting with /* and ending with */, for example:

/* comment */
