yellowish (adjective, colour term) – resembling yellow, a colour with a yellow cast; i. e., not a monochromatic (pure) colour but a colour tainted by a yellow hue. Some yellowish colours are: yellow, yellowish brown, yellowish green, yellowish grey, yellowish red, orange, citrine, lemon, ochraceous, ochre, stramineous, vitelline, isabelline.
